Accepted carts
The only acceptable carts are 35-, 65- and 95-gallon carts supplied by Davis Waste Removal. Davis Waste Removal will not pick up any garbage not in the cart.

Starting time and holidays
Collection begins at 6 a.m. year round. Davis Waste Removal works all holidays except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. When Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on a weekday, a modified schedule will be published.

Keeping carts and street clean
To prevent flies in carts, keep them clean and sanitary by cleaning out any residue built up. Make sure to put any litter in carts to ensure the community is clean and litter-free.

Rural businesses
Carts or bins will be furnished as necessary to meet your needs and will be emptied from a mutually agreed upon location at your farm or business yard. Monthly charge depends on number of carts.

Yolo County annually sets the rates for garbage and recycling services. Davis Waste Removal will bill quarterly. A minimum finance charge of $5 will be applied to all delinquent accounts.

Billing, service and pick-up questions should be directed to Davis Waste Removal at (530) 756-4646.
